Yingluck : I will say that some group of the people might not accept us, but please ask many of the people..because the majority of people support us. We also doing all the policy to run the country. But anyway, I came from the election. I think this is one thing that the way to tell that this government satisfy with the people is democracy. I think this is a way that the thing should be. So, that's why myself and government came from the election, so I think the election and democracy has the process to monitor and to be judged and to evaluate myself that whether I should be in this position or not.
Reporter : In that case, why don't you call a new election now?
Yingluck : I would if the situation is stop, (I would be call a new election), but now the situation is not stop. Right now, we open the dialog ( for it ). What ever we keep the dialog, what ever we keep the peaceful way, we keep the following the rule of law. That will be the right answer.
Reporter : So you don't want to call an election now, but maybe later?
Yingluck : If we call it with the election, we have to ask the potesters would satisfy or not.
Reporter : They might not be, but if you call an election, it would take some of the pressure now. People would focus on campaigning. Wouldn't be the good solution, right now?
Yingluck : I think we should see the situation, and I think right now, we need to make sure that the government can go on and run. If we can clear this (situation) first. Then, we can discuss and how we can handle the country... how we can move forward.
Reporter : If this protest carry on this way. Will you at some stage have to use force against them... deploy the polices use much tougher method? What do you think?
Yinkluck : No. I think the police can handle with the situation.
Reporter : They are not handling it. They are backing off out there. I believe they are doing nothing about it.
Yinkluck : We don't want to confront, we are using the law, that is why. If we move forward with the police, it would make people unhappy. We need to be very careful, because this situation is very sensitive. It does not mean that the government just..like.. back off. I think we have our position and stand point. Let policemen follow step by step. The first step is negotiation.
Reporter : Give us how much pressure is on you. Why don't you just give up a job and go back to your business job. You get much less pressure, much less abuse.
Yinkluck : The most important things that my government came from election. I don't want other way of unlawful undemocracy... We need to make sure that the system is still can go on.
Reporter : Don't you get tired of doing this job, that you just think that sometimes I'm giving enough now. I want to do something else.
Yinkluck : NO. I think this job of the priminister have to make sure that the country is peaceful. I think that for myself I devote myself for the country. I'm not being tried. I will not being...like...upset, but I think only one thing that we have to fight for remain democracy
